The advertising copy you supply must be legal, decent, honest and truthful and must comply with the British Code of Advertising. CarHunt.co.uk reserves the right to either amend, deny submission or remove any advertisement that fails to comply with these requirements. Ultimate responsibility however rests with the advertiser.

Advertising is an art, not an exact science and so there is no guarantee that your car will be sold as a direct result of your advert - either on CarHunt.co.uk or any other advertising medium. The success of an advertisement will depend on a number of factors such as price, model, specification, colour, other cars being advertised, condition, mileage, etc. CarHunt.co.uk therefore cannot offer any guarantee or promises that your car will be sold as a result of using our service.

CarHunt.co.uk does not verify and therefore cannot accept responsibility for the truthfulness or accuracy of any claims and images in any of the adverts appearing on its site. The advertiser shall be responsible for any loss or expense incurred by misleading claims.

CarHunt.co.uk exists to provide an on-line marketing service. CarHunt.co.uk is not directly involved in the sale or purchase of any car advertised on its site or any product or service provided by third party advertisers or affiliates. All transactions for the sale or purchase of any products or services advertised are between the buyers and sellers in question. CarHunt.co.uk accepts no responsibility for the quality of the products or services being sold or for the legality of any objects advertised through its services. Buyers are advised to seek independent advice and check the vehicle, its history and documentation carefully.

Costs & Refunds
The cost of advertising is as displayed on the site at the time the advert is placed or as agreed with Dealers and Traders as part of a separate 'Online Advertising Agreement.

No refunds will be made should pricing be changed as a result of promotional offers or policy change.

CarHunt.co.uk reserves the right to make offers from time to time that are exclusive to specific users.

Since placing an advert on CarHunt.co.uk or any other medium is not a guarantee of a sale, no refunds are given if your used car remains unsold.

Dealer and Trader 'AdCredits' have an expiration date of 12 weeks from the date of purchase.

Payment is required in advance of each advert being placed on the site.

Ad Content
Only one car may be featured in each classified advertisement.

Advertising for other products, services or general Dealership advertising is available through our banners and links services. Details of which can be obtained by contacting CarHunt.co.uk

For technical reasons, it may be necessary to alter the text or size and format of any photograph(s) supplied by the advertiser. For copyright reasons, any photographs provided must be of the car being advertised for sale and that the advertiser has legal right to sell. Library or stock images used must be clearly marked as such.

Lead Times, Changes & Cancellations
Adverts placed via the website interface go online immediately.

For Dealer ads uploaded to the site from a Dealer Management System or sent in bulk by electronic means, the following lead times will apply.

Bank Holidays or any other public holidays are excluded from this.

An advert can be cancelled at any time to avoid unwanted response. The facility is available to do this on-line only. Please make a careful note of your user ID and password in order to remove your ad. In the event of difficulty, please email us quoting your name, the make, model and most importantly the registration number used when placing the ad to remove@ CarHunt.co.uk.

You can change most details of your ad as often as you like. The only thing you cant change are make, model and registration number.

Other Legal Stuff

Site Maintenance
We will need to carry out routine site maintenance from time to time and therefore it may be possible your advert(s) or the site may go off-line during this. CarHunt.co.uk however will make every effort to limit this and we will try to carry out maintenance work during the quietest periods. In the unlikely event that maintenance work extends for more than 8 hours, CarHunt.co.uk will grant all affected advertisers additional advertising, free of charge, for an equivalent time period.

CarHunt.co.uk provides tips and advice to help buyers and sellers of used cars. This information is provided by both CarHunt.co.uk and third party affiliates and partners. Whilst every effort is made to ensure the accuracy and completeness of such information, it should be treated as a guide only. You should not rely solely on this information when making decisions.

When you visit our web site, we issue a "cookie" or unique identification code that enables us to recognise your computer. These cookies do not contain any personally identifying information and are merely used to track which areas of our web site you have visited. This information helps us improve the usability and value of our site.

How We Use The Information

Whilst including your e-mail address in your advert makes it easier for potential buyers to contact you, it also means that this information is in the public domain and is accessible to anyone. If you are concerned about scams and spam mail, don't include your e-mail address.
